Un-tailored

Hey guys! Well, I had another dream. This time, I entered a writing competition.  I forgot there were two aspects of the writing competition, so I did one really well at home when I was centered, relaxed and in my element….

Then I did the other half whilst they went round collecting it during the submission period.

When the results came back I got a low C grade on the completed paper that I put my heart and soul into. The marker said I “scratched the surface” on many topics  and that this paper was the “downfall of my application”.

In the second paper, I answered one question. ONE. I doubt I used fullstops… my handwriting was a mess and I was just spewing the little I knew in the time I had.

The question I answered was out of 7marks, but that question was given so many marks I made the passmark and beyond of that paper.

The maker’s comments read “intricate and detailed”.

I was sat down and was told I was one mark away from winning the prize.

If I answered the first paper the way I did the second, I would have been a shoe-in for first place.

A cruel twist you might think? But I love relating everything to anything my subconscious creates so… this is one of those times.

I have put quite a bit on hold because I’m waiting for the “perfect time”. When all my resources are in order, I have this big reveal that I feel will move mountains… but I want it to be when I’m ready. So I tweak the idea now and again. I wait and see the valuable assets to add and honestly, all that does is waste general time. My perfection could be hidden in the caption or poster I make whilst letting the rice boil… or whilst looking for my keys in the morning.

This goes for you too!!!!!! That perfectly made pasta bake does not need to take 4 hours if you know what you’re doing. That idea does not need a big fancy launch if you’ve got the structure laid out and it is a nobrainer!

If it is something you already got… then flaunt it! Now!
