Don’t Be Sorry

I was watching Key and Peele sketches on YouTube, because why not?

Long story short – a waiter did something that one of the characters did not approve of and he said apologized by saying ‘I am sorry’. Before he could continue, he was cut off by the character saying ‘Don’t be sorry be better.

It was supposed to be a funny scene, but then again, I wouldn’t be me if I did not dig too deep into everything!

Since then, I have apologized differently and made more intentional moves. Being sorry is fine. It is an act of remorse and humility. However, of what use is that sorry if it changes nothing?

Step One 101 of doing the right thing, don’t be sorry. Be better.

Apply this to your relationships, your businesses, your careers, your studies. Take the blame and apologize, but instantly take the necessary steps to be better!
