Be Specific!

I recently went on a safari getaway with my friend. We were in the middle of somewhere with no signal most of the time, and it was absolutely lovely. As we went on our second safari, I said I wanted to see a hippo. At that point, we had seen a lot of animals. I was tired of seeing hippos stick their heads out of the Zambezi. I wanted to see one walk in front of us.

It was getting dark, and we did not see anything- so as we were heading back to our accommodation, a hippo crossed the road! It walked by so fast that I did not have time to take my phone out and take a proper picture. But hey, at least I saw one.

I am a firm believer in claiming and stating what you would like to see in life. Being able to articulate your expectations verbally makes the probability of you striving towards them or them making their way to you- more likely. Ask and it shall be given unto you!

BUT BE SPECIFIC.

I wanted to see a hippo. I did not say how, where, or when. I just wanted to see one, and a hippo crossed my path as I wanted, but at night, with headlamps making it harder to see, and my phone was too far to take a picture.

If we are specific with what we would like to see- those situations will form themselves in a way you will appreciate. We might not always get what we want, but we should be specific with what we would like.

Set your goals with what you would like to see or have happen for yourself in a manner that outlines it from start to beginning. You have the frame already, now, focus!
