Mind Your Thoughts!

For a split second today, all my worries disappeared.

No, I was not in a complicated yoga pose – breathing different or listening to waterfalls. I just redirected my thoughts.. I am easily distracted so it wasn’t that difficult.

I was about to take a shower and I thought about what I would do to advance my business. I am currently thinking of making a few changes and so I swayed my thoughts there for a while. In the midst of me freaking out about something totally different in my life.

WAIT!!!!!!!!!!

I know what you are thinking. But this is not some “think about your business” encouragement thing.

I’m trying to point out the fact that I thought about something ELSE, that was not related to my problem. And for that 45 seconds, I felt free. My jaw was not clenched, my shoulders relaxed, I could breathe easier…

Dear Reader, do not put yourself under unnecessary stress or pressure. If it was that easy for ME, Mrs. WorryAllTheTime, then you can do it too.

Our mind is a powerful place. And what you feed it can affect you in a powerful way. – NF
